Only half an hour to Nokia World and what can we expect to see?

I have my hopes tied to a Nokia Lumia 41 megapixel windows phone 8 but I do not think that Camera-guru Damian is thinking along the same lines.

You will remember that Damian Dinning is at the centre of the phone technology that exists in the Nokia 808 PureView. In addition, you will recall that the announcement of the Nokia 808 turned the industry on its heads when it was unveiled at MWC 2012 earlier this year. The 41 megapixel sensor with 38 megapixel camera of the Nokia 808 set the bar higher than ever before of what a camera-phone should be.

 

However, Damian’s latest tweets do appear to be dampening our ardour towards a Nokia Windows Phone replica of the Nokia 808. Unfortunately, it do look likely that we will be getting a toned-down version of the PureView.

What are your thoughts? Do you think he is sending out a message here and that we are to read between the lines?
